Strategy and expression across healthcare, organizations and culture — seen from above, made by hand.

Each skill belongs to its own discipline. Separated, the context and energy that connect them are easily lost. What holds them together is not any single technique, but a single way of seeing.

Selected Film Work
From structure through shooting to editing — for places, organizations and social projects.

Photography · Long-term series
Portraits, everyday scenes, rescue cats, social and cultural projects, the memory of places, healthcare and academic settings. Photography is the main expressive practice — organized in long-term series rather than single assignments, and shown in exhibitions, publications and projects.
The Sense of Place trilogy at Kyodo News headquarters, Tokyo (2023–2026). For Cat’s Moment of Truth, more than 50 works were selected from photographs of over 1,000 rescue cats; LIVE PASSENGER was distributed internationally through an Associated Press–affiliated network.

Healthcare Communication · Creative Director
“In healthcare, there is value and care that society has not yet seen.”
As communications advisor to medical institutions, he works from strategy through to photography, film and media — bringing the substance of care to the public. More than 20 years with general hospitals, university hospitals and radiotherapy centres.
The work is largely translation: turning complex institutional communication — treatment, organization, the people behind care — into visual and narrative forms that patients and the public can follow.
Organizational Advisor and Communications Advisor to Aijinkai, a social medical corporation — working on both strategy and what is actually published.

Radio Producer · Director
“Not simply broadcast — but received.”
Programme making as relationship-building rather than transmission. From planning and structure to recording and editing, so that guests’ voices and experiences come through naturally — and mean something beyond the studio.
“Kuwahara Azusa no as life” (Saturdays 7:00–7:45), on air since 2017: people active in many fields talk about work, life and everyday wisdom. Produced within Academy Sharing’s activities, with more than 450 guests to date.

Documentary · Promotional · Social-sector projects
Film is used to make visible the extent of a space, the air of a place, and the background of a project — handled from structure through shooting to editing. JUIDA-certified drone operator, with nationwide blanket flight permissions filed in Japan. Promotional films for brands, urban spaces and natural heritage — where seeing the whole becomes, quite literally, a visual language.
“Shiburanger”, a promotional film for NPO Shibutane — a project about the siblings of children living with illness or disability, a presence that is rarely talked about.

Organizational communication · Branding · Communication design
Finding direction by bringing light to the stories in the field that are often left behind the figures. Finding new perspectives and meaning in ambiguity, where there is no single right answer.
In practice this means designing how an organization speaks — internally and externally — and then producing the content itself: visual communication, project planning and direction, and branding for healthcare, corporate and regional organizations.
Greeting Energy, a general incorporated association connecting people and society through words and dialogue in education, healthcare and local communities: training and lectures for universities, healthcare, welfare and educational institutions; facilitation; teaching materials and regional projects.

Haikaraya · Shodoshima
A small base for photography and film inside the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village. Not bringing the city here to change the place, but placing oneself inside the time that flows on the island.
Islanders, travellers, and sometimes visitors from far away. Staying in that time, you may begin to see a slightly different landscape.
— Embedded in the place.

Not one-way lessons in technique or success stories, but how to see, how to communicate, how to choose — put into words together with participants.
Smartphone photography and photographic expression — not only technique, but seeing and conveying.
How to communicate the value of healthcare and complex information to society.
Connecting strategy and expression, between an MBA / Healthcare MBA and creative practice.
Working by role, not by title — connecting many fields with your own axis.
